H. "Randy" Thomley

My name is Randy Thomley and I am running for Supervisor District 4 in Lamar County. With my work ethics, business background, family history and based upon my personal integrity and beliefs, I feel I am the best candidate for this position.

As a resident of Mississippi for over 45 years, my roots run deep with the voters of this area. I believe my experience and qualifications are what the citizens of District 4 will need in their next Supervisor. It's time for a strong, new leadership that belongs to the people and the community of District 4.

It will truly be an honor to serve as your Supervisor. Your concerns are very important to me, especially as we continue to grow as a community. My campaign is about you and your issues and I hope you will feel free to contact me with your opinions. Let me know what you think and more importantly, which issues you want your next Supervisor of District 4 to focus upon. Together we can change Lamar County's future.

As I enter the election, the following points are my pressing concern:

† I want to improve and protect the Lamar County lifestyle that we all enjoy, while our economy continues to move forward.

† I want to maintain the financial integrity of District 4, and provide facts and information to the residents that will allow them to voice themselves on the issues facing our area.

† I plan to organize a review committee made up of residents from each precinct to help keep me better informed of the needs and concerns within their area.

† I want to better manage the 40 million dollars of taxes currently being collected in Lamar County in the most efficient manner possible.

† I want to improve the family way of life throughout Lamar County with more recreational areas. Playgrounds are needed for public use for our children and I am committed to apply for grant money that is available to build at least four modern facilities in our county.

I truly believe serving your fellow man is the most rewarding of all activities. Following the example of Christ is always the best road to travel.
