Experience

Growing up in a farming family and on a Christmas Tree Farm I learned the value of hard work at an early age. Later as I worked through colleges as a carpenters assistant doing mostly additions and repairs, I learned a lot about taking problems created by others and making the necessary corrections.

As I began my career in the business world, I spent three years in sales, which gave me an understanding that customers, like residents in Lamar County, want you to talk straight with them, be accountable for your actions and produce fast efficient RESULTS! This helped me tremendously as I moved into the Production and Quality control side of our business (Commercial Truck Tire Retreading). I have gained valuable knowledge and hands on experience working with and managing over 300 employees, but never asking them to do anything I was not willing to do myself.

I maintained and controlled millions of dollars of equipment and supplies, while continually overseeing the high quality product our customers deserved and demanded. The residents of Lamar County deserve no less. As Supervisor of District 4 I pledge my time, talents and every God-given ability I have to meet your needs. I will productively manage your tax dollars, with an endless desire to improve our way of life, while maintaining the financial integrity of a fast growing community.
